Sarah
JOB TITLE
Sarah, affectionately known as Bear, has been part of The Grove Gippsland team since February 2025 and knew from the beginning it was somewhere special.
One of her favourite parts of the role is watching weddings and events come to life, from the early planning stages through to seeing everything come together on the day. She loves helping create memorable experiences for every couple and guest.
Sarah feels lucky to work alongside such a close-knit, supportive team and to call The Grove’s beautiful property her workplace each day.
Lillian
Sales & Venue Manager
Originally from Chile, Lil moved to Melbourne in 2014 and has since built a career across hospitality, restaurants, events and weddings, spending the past five years as part of The Grove Gippsland team.
She loves being part of each wedding day and making sure every detail comes together so couples can relax and enjoy the celebration. Outside The Grove, Lil runs a family coffee caravan business servicing events across the Bass Coast and is a proud mum of two.
Now happily settled in Gippsland, she’s fallen in love with country life - cows, quiet roads, one traffic light and all.
Josh
JOB TITLE
A South Gippsland local, Josh is passionate about bringing people together through hospitality, agriculture and community. As part of the team behind The Grove Gippsland and Krowera Hill Olive Grove, his role spans everything from venue operations to caring for the olive grove and producing extra virgin olive oil on the property.
For Josh, great hospitality comes down to genuine care, attention to detail and creating a place where people feel welcome. He loves seeing guests celebrate life’s biggest moments at The Grove and creating experiences they’ll remember long after the day is over.
Sarah
Events Manager
As Business Development Manager and Events Manager, Sarah helps bring weddings, celebrations, corporate events and photo shoots to life at The Grove Gippsland.
She loves getting to know each client, hearing their ideas and helping shape an event that feels completely their own. For Sarah, one of the best parts of the role is seeing everything come together on the day across The Grove’s 60-acre property.
When she’s not planning events, she’s usually dreaming up new ways to showcase The Grove and everything the property has to offer.
TARA
head chef
Tara heads the kitchen at The Grove Gippsland, bringing more than 24 years of experience and more weddings than she can count to every celebration.
Her menus are shaped by the seasons and the olive oil pressed right here on the property, with a focus on generous, beautiful food that’s made to be enjoyed around a full table. For Tara, great wedding food is about more than what’s on the plate —it’s about making sure every guest feels looked after.
Her measure of a great wedding? Guests still talking about the food years later.
